What Do Women Want In Finance?

According to the Forbes article, “The Four Things Women Want (in Financial Services),” women want the following:

  • more confidence with their finances
  • more convenience
  • better communication
  • better collaboration

I agree with the above list. Everything contained above empowers women (really everyone!) to make better decisions when it comes to their money and the lifestyle that they want to achieve.

I think part of the reason I do what I do is because I like learning and solving problems (I was a total math nerd in high school). Tell me what the answer/goal/destination is, and I will figure out how to get there in the most efficient way possible. What intrigues me with Financial Planning is that it is a constant learning experience because every situation is different, and the rules are changing all the time. I started Financial Journey LLC because I really enjoy figuring out how all the pieces of the puzzle fit together and adjusting things along the way. I also have extensive experience with retirees and turning a nest egg into a stream of income. Because of this experience, I can help a younger generation prepare more for their retirement years with small steps that will have bigger impact later down the road.

My intention is to be a trusted partner with you along your financial journey. I believe that you will gain confidence in your decision making because, as your trusted partner, I am there to help navigate these decisions by providing convenience, communication, and collaboration.

I am curious, what other things would you add to the above list? After all, the article was written by a man……
